Day 1. Yangon Arrival (-/-/-)


Arrive at Yangon International Airport by (am 08:00/09:00 flight) & transfer to your hotel. The sightseeing tour starts to CHAUK HTAT GYI, a huge reclining Buddha image and continue to KARAWEIK HALL, a Royal floating Barge on a lake, for photo stop. Sightseeing tour includes the gilded SULE Pagoda, and BOTATAUNG PAGODA beside the river and the oldest Chinese temple. Extended visit made to SHWEDAGON PAGODA in the evening.

 

Day 2. YANGON – MANDALAY


After breakfast at Hotel, transfer to Yangon airport for domestic flight to MANDALAY .On arrival, visit to to U BEIN teak bridge, over 150 years old. Transfer to your hotel.In the afternoon, visit MYANANSANKYAW PALACE; built by King Mindon and drive up to MANDALAY HILL for panoramic view of Mandalay City.  SHWE NAN DAW KYAUNG (or Golden Palace Monastery), KUTHODAW PAGODAS with 729 stone tablets (known as World’s Biggest Book).

Day 3. Mandalay–Mingun –Sagaing


Embarkation time is 10:00 at Shwe Kyat Yet Jetty (Mandalay), Welcome Drink and briefing. Sail upstream for about one and half hour we arrived at the MINGUN Pagoda Complex. Well known short tip to see the unfinished pagoda, the Mingun Bell, weighting 90 tones and the biggest hanging undamaged bell in the world and the “Home For The Aged”. After lunch on board and continues downstream to Sagaing. Visit to Sagaing for about two & half hour’s excursion by coach. Visiting thet most important Buddhist Religion site. Back to board and sail downstream. Enjoy the sunset over Sagaing Hill. Moor overnight at a sandbank mid-stream. After dinner guests can enjoy a Traditional Dance on the sundeck (if available).

Sagaing –Yandabo Village


In the morning, cruising downstream to Yandabo Village. Sightseeing Yandabo Village. Dependant on the base economy is famous for the production of terracotta from the riverbank day. We see pottery making process at various stages. Yandabo, historically recognized for the signing of the Yandabo Treaty which took place under a tree on the riverbank in 1826 between the British and Royal Burmese House-hold of Ava. Shore excursion time is 1 hour. Back to board and cast off. Continue sailing downstream and moor overnight at near Chindwin confluence.

Day 5.. BAGAN – INLE LAKE


Wetgyiin GU BYAUK GYI for its famous Jataka mural painting and HTILOMINLO TEMPLE for its plaster carvings and famous ANADA TEMPLE, with its four huge standing-Buddha images. Transfer to your hotel.In the afternoon, SULAMANI AND DAMAYANGYI PAGODA. In the afternoon, continue to DHAMMAYAZIKA PAGODA at Pwa-saw village. In the evening, visit to the BUPAYA PAGODA, a memorable experience for the view over the Ayeyarwaddy River. Enjoy sunset from the terraces of SHWE SANDAW PAGODA.

 

Day 6 . BAGAN – MT. POPA- BAGAN

After breakfast at Hotel, transfer to airport for domestic flight to HEHO, (Approx: 09:50-10:30).On arrival, drive to Nyaung Shwe, on the edge of Inle Lake, en route stop at Shweyanpyay wooden monastery, then board the local boat to take you to your hotel.In the afternoon, take a boat trip on Inle Lake – a photographer's dream, its calm waters are dotted with floating vegetation and fishing canoes, to which scenic high hills provide the perfect backdrop. See the lake's unique “leg rowers” – the Intha people row standing up with one leg wrapped around an oar. Visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the holiest religious site in southern Shan State and Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries on the lake. One can see ancient Buddha statues which are more than 200 years old. Return to your hotel. (Lunch and dinner will be to your own account.)

Day 7. BAGAN-YANGON & DEPARTURE (B/-/-)

 

Htilominlo Temple

After breakfast, transfer to Heho airport for domestic flight to YANGON (approx: 10:00-11:05). Upon arrival, the better alternative for one stop shop is BOGYOKE (SCOTTS) MARKET (closed on Public Holidays and Mondays). This multi-storey market more than 2,000 stores selling clothes and accessories, Gold, gems and jewellery, and painting. In the afternoon, (14:30) transfer to Yangon airport for your international departure flight (17:35 & later, evening flight).
